Jammerbugt municipality

Nørhalne is a small town with 1,700 inhabitants located in the Municipality of Jammerbugt, where its close proximity to the lovely North Sea beaches enables us to enjoy the Danish summer to the full.

Nørhalne Cup works in close collaboration with the local authority, in particular with regard to the use and rent of schools and sports halls. We are delighted to enjoy such a good working relationship with the local authority, since accommodating 10,000 players at schools, holiday resorts and hotels is no easy task. In addition, a number of these youngsters are accompanied by
their parents, who will be staying at holiday homes, hotels or campsites throughout the region.

We estimate that approximately 12-14,000 people descend on the region every year to participate in Nørhalne Cup during the Ascension Day holiday.

In our printed programme, which can also be read on this website under Tournament / Important for teams / Program  the local mayor has also expressed the local authority’s enthusiasm for working with Nørhalne Cup and the many sports clubs within the Municipality of Jammerbugt.
